Grano Coffee Affairs is located in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad – just a few minutes away from Karafa. As soon as you enter Grano, you are welcomed by the lush greenery everywhere. There is outside seating (where smoking is allowed) as well as seating on the second floor, but when we went in the morning, that area was unfortunately closed, so we sat in the outdoor seating.
My family and I, along with some other friends, sat down and ordered our food. We passed time by talking, and yet after 20 minutes, our food still didn’t come! We waited and waited and waited. All the kids had started to get hungry – it was breakfast time, and we didnt have anything before that. All the adults’ food came – and none of ours.
The air started to get smoky, as the person sitting next to us was smoking. So all the kids got up and went inside, so we didn’t have to breathe in that unhealthy air. We waited for another 20 minutes – and our food still didn’t come! Our parents talked to the staff there – hardly 3 or 4 people.
After what seemed like forever, we got the food – crepes and bagels. I was starving, and I finished my food in 5 minutes flat. But the wait wasn’t worth it. The food was okay, but considering the long wait, it could have been much better.
